Falmouth police will be taking part in National Drug Take Back Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, an officer will meet residents at the entrance of the police station on Marshall Drive, where unneeded items can be deposited into a container. Hypodermic needles, EpiPens and liquids will not be accepted.

According to the U.S Drug Enforcement Administration, National Drug Take Back Day “provides a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.”
