The city is looking for an outside establishment to take over the operation of the Riverside Grill at the municipal Riverside Golf Course.
The restaurant at 1158 Riverside St., has indoor and outdoor dining space, banquet and function capabilities and a full bar. It is located at the clubhouse at the 18th-hole of the north Riverside Golf Course, where 28,000 rounds of golf are played per season; 18,000 rounds are played at the 9-hole south course.
In the offseason, the property is open for public cross country skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, ice skating and other winter activities.
Requests for proposals are due back to the city by 3 p.m. on March 23. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held at the site on Wednesday, March 10, at 10 a.m.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
