SCARBOROUGH — Two people from Massachusetts were arrested by Scarborough Police on Tuesday, Feb. 23, and charged with Class A felony drug trafficking.
Juan Trinidad, 20, and a juvenile, both from Lawrence, Massachusetts, were arrested after the Scarborough Police Special Enforcement unit executed a search warrant on Feb. 23 at about 3:30 p.m. at a Scarborough hotel.
Officers seized 730 grams of fentanyl, with an estimated street value of $120,000, and $16,000 in cash.
Trinidad was taken to the Cumberland County jail and the juvenile was issued a summons and released to his parents.
