BIDDEFORD — Ronald Charette, 71, of Biddeford, passed away from COVID-19 at St. Andre’s Healthcare on Feb. 3, 2021.
Ronald was born in Fort Kent, Maine, on July 9, 1949, son to Arthur Gagnon and Delores Charette.
Ronald was a hard-working, generous and kind man. There was nothing he wouldn’t do to help, it didn’t matter if you were a stranger, friend or family — he was there. If he wasn’t working or spending time with those he loved, you could often times find him enjoying one of his other passions; being outdoors.
His presence and heart of gold will be dearly missed by many.
Ronald is survived by: his mother, Delores Charette; his brothers, Jimmy Ouellette and wife Diane, David Ouellette and wife Rita, and Jeffrey Ouellette and wife Debbie; his sister, Rachel Perkins and husband Harry; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Gagnon.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions services will be held at a later date.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
