Pooch stickers

Wayne “Pooch” Drown stickers are available for $10 at the Gorham Recreation Department to benefit Police Department youth programs. Donations of $1 or more are also being accepted to benefit the Drown Memorial Scholarship.
Drown, the town’s first high school resource officer, passed away from a heart attack in February 2019.
The stickers feature the school’s ram mascot and are in Gorham High School colors.

Gorham settlers in 1760 wintered their cattle and horses at the Great Kezar meadow, according to the Gorham Historical Society. They drove their animals over Native American trails to reach the meadow, which was in the Fryeburg area.
