PORTLAND — The city has launched its third round of free personal protection equipment for small businesses in Portland.
Businesses with fewer than 31 employees who interact in person with the public will be given four boxes of disposable masks, a no-touch hand sanitizer dispenser, a gallon and four individual bottles of hand sanitizer, and three quarts of surface disinfectant while supplies last. Businesses should sign up now for a time slot from 1-4 p.m. Feb. 22 or 1-4 pm. Feb. 24 to pick up the supplies at Ocean Gateway.
A Keep Maine Healthy grant is paying for the supplies.
