Elaine A. Roberge-King
ROLLINSFORD, N.H. – Elaine A. Roberge-King passed peacefully on Feb. 4, 2021 at her home in Rollinsford, N.H.
Elaine was born on Sept. 22, 1947. She has been happily married to Michael King from Portland for 25 years. She graduated in 1965 from The Academy of St. Joseph in South Berwick and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rollinsford, N.H.
Elaine is survived by her husband Mike; daughter, Leslie Richards; and brother, Raymond and Elaine Vermette. She also leaves behind a granddaughter, Miranda LaRocque; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph E. and Irene M. (Cossette) Vermette; and infant brother, Richard.
She taught painting and crafts at her home business, Country Charm, for many years where she made many lasting friends. Elaine and her sister-in-law, Rose Roberge, ran a bridal business. She was the Rollinsford, N.H. town clerk and worked at Somersworth, N.H. City Hall.
Elaine and her husband Mike enjoyed many years at their camp on Bonny Eagle Pond in Buxton.
A mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rollinsford, N.H. on Feb. 10 at 1 p.m.
