Whether downsizing, upsizing or starting anew, Julia and I have never been prouder to help people make Maine their home. Thank you to all of our clients for being part of our most successful year.
More than anything, this year reminded Julia and I of just how connected we all are. We want to share our gratitude because during a time of stability for us, many of our neighbors have faced new and continued hardships.
As we have in holiday seasons past, we continue to support the Salvation Army and Milestone Recovery. Some of the biggest issues we see affecting our neighbors are housing insecurity, mental health and substance use disorder. These two organizations recognize the complex ways that people can achieve safe, affordable housing and/or overcome addiction.
We want to invite everyone with the means to do so to join us in donating to these organizations or similar ones. We have a strong, caring community here in Southern Maine. Let’s make it stronger together. Learn more about the Salvation Army at nne.salvationarmy.org and more about Milestone Recovery at milestone-recovery.org.
We wish everyone a warm, healthy and safe holiday season.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
