A Buxton home was heavily damaged by fire Tuesday morning.
The two-alarm fire at 33 East Wind Drive was reported just after 6:30 a.m. The first crew to arrive found heavy smoke and an extensive fire on the front of the two-story home, according to Buxton fire officials.
All occupants were out of the home before firefighters arrived and no injuries were reported.
The fire started on the exterior of the house and was determined to be accidental, according to officials.
East Wind Drive is located off Portland Road, near the intersection of Route 22 and Broadturn Road. Portland Road was closed in the area immediately around the fire scene while crews put out blaze, according to a public safety dispatcher.
Mutual aid was provided by Scarborough, Gorham, Standish and Saco.
