Kevin Collins of York County Sheriff’s Office has been selected as Deputy of the Year by the Maine Sheriff’s Association. Collins, who was promoted to Sargeant in January, previously worked for Buxton Police Department and has also previously been a dispatcher at Scarborough Police Department. The honor will be bestowed at the Maine Sheriff’s Association annual awards banquet in Bangor in March. He was recognized for his achievement recently by York County Commissioners and Sheriff William King.
