Two men were stabbed at a party early Sunday morning in Old Orchard Beach, police said.
Police responded shortly after 1 a.m. to a private residence at 15 Carll Ave. and found two 20-year-old men with stab wounds. One was transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland, and another was treated and released at the scene.
The victims live at the house, and were stabbed by a single male suspect during an altercation at the residence, police said in a statement Sunday. The authorities declined to release the names of the victims and the suspect.
The Old Orchard Beach Police Department interviewed several witnesses, but is still investigating the incident. No one is in custody.
Anyone who can provide more information may call the department at 934-4911.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
