Once again, it’s time to take stock and recognize the bounty all around us – the people who give their time and their energy to the larger community, sharing the best parts of their humanity and selflessly enriching the world around us. Here are some of those Maine residents who stood out to us for working diligently, often without recognition, to comfort, protect, nurture and inspire those around them who need a helping hand.
