HARPSWELL — A Harpswell man was found dead following a crash on Harpswell Neck Road shortly before 7 a.m. Sunday.
First responders found the body of James Ramsay, 48, in a 2006 Dodge Ram. The truck was located in the woods near 1138 Harpswell Neck Road, also known as Route 123.
It appears Ramsay suffered a medical issue before the crash, according to a news release from the Cumberland County Sherriff’s Office.
It is unknown whether Ramsay died as a result of the medical issue or as a result of the crash, or what the possible medical issue was.
Chief Deputy Naldo Gagnon with Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said the state medical examiner’s office will investigate.
