A couple of friends and I got a “sneak preview” the other day of the Brunswick Library’s used bookstore — Twice Told Tales.
We were all very impressed — not only with the layout but also with the brightness of the interior — good sunlight from the front windows and bright yellow walls combined to make a pleasing atmosphere for browsing. And, there were plenty of books for browsing, all carefully displayed according to genre and type — hard-bound or paperback.
I know the formal opening isn’t for a couple of days, but the dedication and hard work that it took to bring about this transformation from the previous bookstore were amazing. Kudos to one and all!
It’s wonderful to know that those dedicated volunteers spent as much time as they did to bring this project to fruition speaks very well for the folks who live here in Brunswick.
Again, kudos to one and all!

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
