The auction will open for bidding promptly at 5 p.m. Items include hand crafted items, gift baskets and gift cards from area businesses and food including fresh oysters and a wedding package. The bidding will close at 6:30pm. Items will be listed for preview at morrisfarm.org.
Those wishing to donate an item to the auction should contact Lori Bryant at (207) 380-4257, or morrisfarmstore@gmail.com.
Founded in 1995, the Morris Farm was created in an effort to preserve and operate one of the last remaining farms in Wiscasset. In the ensuing years, trustees, community volunteers, members, and staff have restored and expanded the farm’s buildings and care for the land.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
