
NEWFIELD – Maine State Police and the York County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help in locating a mentally challenged man from Newfield who has been missing since late morning, said Maine Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland.
David Penney, 63, was last seen about 11 a.m. Saturday on the Demeritt Road in West Newfield.
Penney is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds, and has gray hair and hazel eyes.
McCausland said Penney was wearing black jeans and a light blue long-sleeved shirt.
Anyone with information about Penney is asked to call the York County Sheriff’s Office at 324-1113 or Maine State Police in Bangor at 973-3700.
