The MAPS Scholarship Foundation would like to express its utmost gratitude to all of the Sponsors and donors of our 24th annual Breakaway 5K and Fun Run that was held on Aug. 17.
A very special thank you to the Old Orchard Beach Police Department for their continued support in helping to make this fundraising effort a success. The Police Department and the OOB Town Council have been supporting our efforts for 24 years and we truly appreciate their partnership.
All proceeds from this race go towards providing scholarships for Old Orchard Beach High School students who are pursuing their education beyond high school. We are now awarding 12 scholarships of $1,000 each.
