
BOWDOINHAM — Route 125 was closed between Preble Road and Post Road in Bowdoinham following a single-vehicle crash Monday afternoon.
The crash was reported near 204 Main Street (Route 24) shortly after 2 p.m. According to Bowdoinham Fire Chief Arthur Frizzle, a dump truck was traveling inbound when the driver lost control. The truck struck a utility pole and rolled onto its side.
Frizzle said no one was hurt, but the crash caused power outages in the area.
According to Central Maine Power, there were 539 customers in Bowdoinham without power; 37 customers in Bowdoin without power and 7 customers in Richmond without power as of 6:30 p.m. There were no outages listed as of 8:40 p.m.
