Wayne R. Stockford,71, passed away Aug. 31st at MidCoast Hospital in Brunswick after a short illness. He is a veteran of the Vietnam era serving in the US Army at Fort Riley, Kansas. After his service he spent many years managing various Mart stores. For the bulk of his career he worked for “Logan for Paint” in Portland overseeing various jobs around the state. Wayne spent many years caring for his aging mother who passed away in 2014.
He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Claire Stockford of Brunswick. He is survived by his sister Judith Thibeault of Bowdoinham and three brothers Charles Jr of Oklahoma city, Clifford of Brunswick, and Donald of Alexandria, Va.
