Throughout the summer I have been working on a bottle project for the Bath Area Food Bank. My goal was to raise $1500 and I’m more than happy to say that I have surpassed it! I would like to sincerely thank every single person and organization who donated their bottles to this cause as I wouldn’t have been able to reach my goal without you. This experience has mean’t a lot to me. It has allowed me to open my eyes and appreciate what an amazing community we live in, where people are willing to help others, regardless of whether or not they benefit from it. Once again, I’m proud to call Bath my home and would like to thank everybody who helped me to achieve my goal while, more importantly, helping the Food Bank. If you have any bottles that you would still like to donate, please donate them directly to the Bath Area Food Bank through Don’s Redemption Center in Bath.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
