SANFORD — Partners Bank has awarded York County Shelter Programs a $500 gift from its monthly Employee Donation Program.
For August, York County Shelter Programs was named by Partners employee Matt LaPierre, who was randomly selected as the 41st employee to participate in this program.
YCSP provides adult-shelter services at Shaker Hill in Alfred, and family emergency-shelter services at their Sanford location. Offering a wide range of shelter services, YCSP was founded on the belief that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity—regardless of income level, housing needs, mental- or physical-health issues, addiction struggles or other related challenges.
A Credit Analyst at the Partners Main Office, LaPierre chose YCSP after seeking his daughters’ advice and being told that they considered a homeless shelter to be a very worthy recipient.
“We congratulate Matt on his commendable selection,” says Partners Bank President and Chief Executive Officer Blaine Boudreau. “There has never been a greater need in our society for shelter-related services, and YCSP’s unwavering dedication deserves all the support it can get. We’re honored that Partners Bank has the opportunity to help their efforts.”
