Bath – Linda Frances (Soule) Plant was born May 30, 1943, the daughter of the late Lewis and Roberta (Leavitt) Soule. She was a Den Mother in Cub Scouts, and taught both Sunday and Bible School at the First Baptist Church of Woolwich. She was an avid supporter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving and the Tourette’s Syndrome Association. She graduated Morse High School in 1961 and married Percy Plant November 11, 1961.
Linda loved her family and friends, houseplants, gardening, cats, music and maple walnut ice cream.
She was predeceased by her husband, Percy W. Plant, their son, Timothy A. Plant, and her parents, Lewis and Roberta Soule. She is survived by her son, Richard W. Plant and his wife, Kristan R. Plant of Woolwich, one granddaughter, Aliza H. Plant of Bath, her brothers Raymond Soule and his wife Sue Soule of Wiscasset and Robert Soule and his wife Phyllis Soule also of Wiscasset. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, and an aunt.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, Aug 5, 2019 at 1:00pm at Oak Grove Cemetery, Southside in Bath. There will be a pot luck reception after the graveside service at 401 Oak Grove Ave Community Room, anyone willing to donate can do so, all friends and family are welcomed to join in Celebrating Linda’s life.
