STANDISH — Edward Hawkins Jr,. 50, of Old Orchard Beach, died Friday night in a motorcycle accident in Standish.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and Standish Fire and Rescue responded to a call at 11:20 p.m. on Friday of a motorcycle crash at 170 Pequawket Trail.
Police found Hawkins dead by his motorcycle, a 1990 Suzuki 600, near a cluster of trees on the side of the road. Hawkins was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
