LUBBOCK, Texas – Bernard “Richard” DeHahn passed away due to illness on June 13, 2019, in Lubbock, Texas. Richard was born Nov. 23, 1949, in Brunswick, Maine. He was a proud Vietnam veteran, a charismatic storyteller, and a clever tinkerer of all things mechanical. Richard is survived by his wife, Renee DeHahn, ex-wife, Deb Butler and their daughters, Lisa Jade, Elia Atkinson, and Linda DeHahn, as well as siblings, Ralph DeHahn, Helen Palmer, Peggy Thiboutot, and Robert DeHahn. Richard was predeceased by parents, Paul and Isabel DeHahn Sr., siblings, Paul DeHahn, Henry DeHahn, Rose DeHahn Soule, Jim DeHahn, Linda DeHahn, Paulette DeHahn Hanscom, Betty Jean DeHahn, and Margaret DeHahn, as well as his second wife, Brenda DeHahn. He also had several grandchildren and stepchildren. Richard’s absence will be felt by many. A celebration of his life is being planned by his daughters to occur in the Brunswick area in early fall.
