
WEST BATH — A Woolwich woman was charged with operating under the influence after she crashed into another vehicle on State Road Saturday afternoon, according to the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office.
According to police reports, the crash happened shortly after 3 p.m. at the intersection of State Road and Fosters Point Road.
Miranda Doak, 24, of Woolwich, was driving South on State Road with two passengers when she crashed into a vehicle driven by Michael St. Germain, 54, of Auburn, who was delivering pizzas at the time. The collision happened when Doak attempted to turn left onto Fosters Point Road and hit St. Germain, who was traveling North on State Road.
St. Germain wasn’t injured in the crash, according to police.
Doak was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland where she was treated and later released. Police charged her with operating under the influence.
Both of Doak’s passengers, Laurien Arsenault, 25, of Bath and Kelly Murphy, 23, of Wiscasset, were taken to Mid Coast Hospital. They were both treated and released.
The crash is still under investigation.
