Jean Vose will present a slide show program to the Topsham Garden Club on Wednesday, July 10, at noon, identifying common bees found in the state, understanding their role in the environment and how to enhance a habitat to support and attract them. The program will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 133 McKeen St., Brunswick and is open to the public.
Jean is a master gardener, certified horticulturist and backyard beekeeper living in Nobleboro where she has created gardens that focus on attracting pollinators.
The Topsham Garden Club is a nonprofit organization affiliated with the Garden Club Federation of Maine. Members reside in Topsham, Brunswick and the surrounding communities.
