Brian Brooks Patterson, age 71, of Oak Hill, Florida, died Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at his home. Born in Montpelier, Vermont to Bernard and Scolastica Barbara Yanowski Patterson; Brian came to Florida in 2018 from Brunswick.
He was an electrician that loved to camp, fish and hunt. Brian truly enjoyed shooting guns and burning powder. He was a United States Navy veteran and recipient of a purple heart during the Vietnam Era. Brian was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Brunswick; Commander of American Legion, Post 202; Elk’s Lodge; VFW, and the Lower Club, all in Maine.
Survivors include his sons, Jason, of Rockland and Patrick of Northfield, of Vermont; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and ex-wife, Bonnie Burness.
Memorial service will be at a later date in Vermont.
