Post 62 season wrap up

Before taking a summer break, the Stephen W. Manchester Post 62 of the American Legion will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, at its headquarters, 17 Dunn St., to install a slate of officers. 

Historical society to meet

Westbrook Historical Society will conduct its annual meeting at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, at the community center, 426 Bridge St.

Fundraiser reminder

Discover Downtown Westbrook is sponsoring a steak and lobster fundraiser on Thursday, May 30, with seatings at 5:30 and 7 p.m. at Brea Lu, 9 Cumberland St.

The function kicks off Westbrook Together Days weekend.

Tickets are $35 for one or $60 for two and can be purchased at bit.ly/ddwdinner. There will also be a beer and wine garden starting at 4:30 p.m. featuring Mast Landing brews. The event will include three sets by the band A.O. & the K.O.s, which plays jazzy blues, R&B, and rock.
