BRUNSWICK — A Yarmouth auto dealership will be holding test drives as part of a fundraiser for Region 10 Technical High School at the school parking lot Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For every person who test-drives a new Ford, Ford Motor Company and Casco Bay Ford will donate $20, up to $6000, to the high school.
“We’ve participated in quite a few Drive 4 UR School events,” says Dan Ridlon, Director of Parts & Service at Casco Bay Ford, and co-organizer of the event, and a member of the advisory board for the auto tech program at Region 10. “We hope the public will come out in support of our kids and help us achieve our goal of raising $6000. We’re a tight knit community and we have each other’s backs. With help from all, we can do this.”
Supporters are encouraged to register for the event at https://d4ur.com/#/pre/vK8O.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
