ARUNDEL — The Town of Arundel will conduct a municipal election and the RSU 21 Referendum on Tuesday, June 11 at the Arundel Central Fire Station on the Limerick Road.
Polls will be open for the election from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., said Emily J. Nedeau, Arundel Town Clerk/Registrar.
The municipal will elect two town selectmen, the RSU 21 director, two budget budget board members for three-year terms and one budget board member for a one-year term, Voters will also approve or disapprove the RSU 21 schools budget during the referendum.
Registration of new voters, as well as changes of name or address forms, may be made with the town registrar at the Arundel Town Office during regular business hours of Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or at the polls on Election Day.
Voters may request an absentee ballot or vote in person at the Town Clerk’s office at 468 Limerick Road, Arundel without any specific reason until 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 6.
According to Nedeau, after June 6 an absentee ballot can only be obtained for special circumstances.
She said that a telephone request can be made by the voter as well.
