BRUNSWICK — Cylene is currently Midcoast Humane’s longest-term resident, and she has been waiting for a home since Jan. 20. This 3-year-old knows commands such as sit, paw, and roll over, and she’s eager to learn more.
She should have a yard to run in, and loves to be tucked into her bed with a blanket. She is food-motivated and guards her possessions (food, rawhides, toys), so it’s important that her human companions be 16 years or older to be sure her boundaries are respected. No cats, though the right dog could work after a meet-and-greet at the shelter.
As part of Cylene’s adoption as a “No Paw Left Behind” animal, Midcoast Humane will provide up to three free one-on-one training sessions with our staff dog trainer at our Pleasant Street facility or in your home, provided you don’t live too far away. Cylene’s fee is waived to the right family. Cylene is currently located at Midcoast Humane’s Edgecomb campus; to meet her, call (207) 449-1366 ext. 302 to schedule a visit.
