BUXTON — “The Spring Fling” will be held at the Bar Mills Community Church in Buxton on Saturday, May 11 starting at 9 a.m.
There will be three events going on that day including:
• The Annual Plant Sale — The plants will be mostly perennials grown in the church gardens.
• The Spring Marketplace — This is a mini version of the Christmas Marketplace. There will be pies, candy, dips, garden-related items, bird houses, cat and dog treats and of course a variety of the “Sew Girls” handmade crafts.
• Mother’s Day Tea — (“Downton Abbey” Inspired) will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $9.
All are invited.
