LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Paulette M. (DeHahn) Hanscom, 64, of Lincolnton, N.C., formerly of Brunswick, sadly passed away at Atrium Health Center in Lincolnton, on Dec. 21, 2018. She was born on Oct. 27, 1954, the daughter of Paul Sr. and Isabelle (Call) DeHahn. She graduated from Brunswick High in 1972.
Paulette loved to read and especially loved her dog, Rosie. After moving to North Carolina, she was employed by Wells Fargo Bank and Dillard’s Dept. Store.
Paulette was predeceased by her parents; and brothers, Paul Jr., Henry, Lawrence “Jim”, and sisters, Rose, Linda, Margaret K. and Betty Jean; nephews, Earl, David, and Jason.
She is survived by sisters, Helen Palmer of Brunswick and Peggy Thiboutot of Topsham, and brothers, Ralph of Northport, Fla., Bernard (Richard) of New Mexico and Robert DeHahn of Amity; stepchildren, Megan and Ryan Hanscom; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved, Michael of Lincolnton, N.C.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends; especially her infectious giggle.
A celebration of life and burial will be in the spring.
