KENNEBUNK — Opening day for the Kennebunk Farmers’ Market 2019 season is Saturday, May 4.

In addition to the market’s staples of farm fresh produce, flowers, baked goods, pasta, juices, meats and natural personal care products, new vendors will offer goat milk products, chicken and eggs, fruit wines and seafood.

There’s also live music on many market days, along with community information booths, including a new health and wellness booth this season offering simple health screenings. The Kennebunk Farmers’ Market offers locally-sourced food and products, entertainment and information for the entire family.

Located behind Garden Street Bowl on Main Street in Kennebunk, the market is open to the public on Saturdays (rain or shine) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and will run May 4 through Nov. 23.

The Kennebunk Farmers’ Market was created in 1994 and is recognized as one of the premier farmers’ markets in the state, ranked last summer as third best in Maine by an online marketing company.
