AUGUSTA — Sen. Eloise Vitelli, D-Arrowsic, and Rep. Seth Berry, D-Bowdoinham, will hold public office hours from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, at the Umberhine Library in Richmond. Public office hours provide local residents a chance to meet with their elected officials, ask questions and get help with legislative or state government matters.
Vitelli and Berry will give updates on their work on various policy committees and on the legislative session more broadly. All are welcome to attend and ask questions.
Additional dates and locations for public office hours throughout Senate District 23 will follow. Senate District 23 includes all of Sagadahoc County as well as the town of Dresden.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
