DAYTONA, Fla. – Lacey Rae Lara-French, passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord, March 24, 2019, with loving family and friends by her side in Daytona, Fla.

She was born Feb. 9, 1990, in Bath, Maine, to Timothy D. French and Gina R. Barton-French. She graduated from Brunswick High School in 2007.  She enjoyed soccer and softball and she was passionate in everything she did and accomplished. She was loved by so many. Her smile, humor and enthusiasm for life were contagious.

Lacey was predeceased by her mother, Gina; and her grandmother, Carrie French. Surviving are her father, Timothy and stepmother, Kathy French, of Brunswick; her partner, Kyle Jackson; and stepfather, Bruce Smith of Florida; four children: Emelia Marie Lara, 8, Kennedy Jade Lara, 7, both of Missouri, Sunny Jae Lara, 5, and Athena Rose Jackson, 1, both of Florida; her sisters, Erica French of Topsham, Tiana French of New Hampshire, and Valerie Serson of Richmond; her brothers Mike Smith of Brunswick and Samuel Smith of California; many uncles, aunts, cousins, and a niece and nephew. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, April 20, at the Bowdoin College Chapel in Brunswick followed by a reception at the Brunswick Elks lodge. A private burial will be in Newport, Maine, at a later date.
