SACO — Two teenage girls missing since Monday were located in Biddeford on Thursday afternoon.

The Saco Police Department posted a notice on social media on Thursday morning asking for the public’s help in locating two teenage girls from Saco — 16-year-old Katana Plourde and 15-year-old Jessica Gallant.
A tweet issued by Saco Police late Thursday afternoon confirmed that the girls were found in Biddeford by Biddeford Police officers and are safe.
They will be returned to their parents.
Deputy Saco Police Chief Jack Clements said both girls were missing since Monday, March 11, when they were dropped off to school at Thornton Academy in Saco but did not go to class.
Clements said the two girls knew each other, but it’s unknown if they left the school together.
Plourde has run away before.
