DURHAM — There are no contested races in the upcoming election to fill two seats on the Board of Selectmen, one School Board seat, and three vacant seats on the Budget Committee.

The polls will be open from 8 a.m-8 p.m. Friday, April 5, at Durham Community School. Town Meeting will be held April 6.

Rob Pontau is running for a full, three-year term on the Board of Selectmen after winning a seat in a special election in June 2017. Marc Farrin, whose term on the Budget Committee is up this year, handed in nomination papers for the other vacant seat on the board.

Incumbent Michelle Ritcheson is running unopposed in her bid to keep her seat on the School Board. Jill Gastonguay is running for re-election to the Budget Committee; there are no candidates for the other two vacant seats, which will be filled by write-in votes.
