YARMOUTH — The Yarmouth Community Garden is accepting applications for plot rentals at its East Main Street location. The 10-by-10-foot organic plots are $40 for Yarmouth residents and $43 for nonresidents.

All renters are required to contribute six hours of service, including helping out in the community plot. No smoking is allowed in the gardens or parking area and no pets are allowed in the garden.

Online registration is available under the Parks, Recreation & Community Services link on the town website at www.yarmouth.me.us. Plots can also be rented in person at Yarmouth Community Services, 200 Main St. Call 846-2406 for more information. Garden organizers will hold their annual spring orientation at 7 p.m. on April 24, at Town Hall.
