Congratulations to the Falmouth High School basketball team on a great season. They won some and lost some, but they always played well and hard. In the end, the team made it to the Western Maine regional finals. It was a season to be proud of.

As a grandfather of one of the players, I have known many of the team members since they started playing. These young men have become not just fine athletes, but outstanding individuals. While maintaining a certain humility, they are all intelligent, respectful, and hard-working young men. Each is a son that any parent would be proud of.

Best of luck to the seniors, and we’ll see the rest of you next year on the court.
