LISBON — Police arrested a Lewiston man Friday after he allegedly struck a 36-year-old Lisbon jogger on Route 196 Friday morning.
Aaron Crenshaw, 25, of Lewiston, was arrested following a traffic stop soon after and charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, according to police.
The jogger told police a truck veered toward her and struck her in the arm and shoulder as she tried to jump out of the way just before 6 a.m.

The vehicle, a white 2013 Chevrolet box truck, didn’t stop, and continued east toward Topsham, police said. The jogger was wearing an illuminated vest and running against the flow of traffic.
A responding Lisbon firefighter followed a vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s truck until Topsham Police stopped the driver, who was later arrested when Lisbon officers arrived on scene.
The woman was treated at St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston.
Crenshaw was released on a $200 bail and is scheduled in Lewiston District Court April 10.
