BIDDEFORD — Brunswick scored early and cruised to a 5-1 victory over Kennebunk/Wells in boys high school hockey Monday evening.
The Dragons jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first period behind goals from Sam Masse, Michael Marro and Isaac Burtis, with assists provided by Jack St. Pierre, Joe Marro, Liam Hemberger and Michael Eno.
Brunswick extended its lead in the second on a goal by Scout Masse off a helper from St. Pierre.
Spencer Marquis stood tall in net all night long for the Dragons in earning the win in net as they improved to 8-7 on the season.
The squad heads south Thursday for a match up with Cape Elizabeth (11-4) at Troubh Arena at 6 p.m.
