SANFORD — Karen A. Miller (Kimball), 65, of Sanford, passed away on Jan. 13, 2019 at the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts with her husband and daughter by her side.
Karen was the youngest child born to Dorothy (Foster) and Paul Kimball Sr. on Sept. 24, 1953 in Biddeford, Maine.
She attended Sanford schools and later worked at various local mills & manufacturing companies such as Brooks Woolen, US Felt, U.S. Optical Disc and Whatman.
Karen loved to spend time at her home with family, friends and her beloved fur baby, Cheyenne. She had a deep love and respect for Mother Earth and all creatures especially those of the feline persuasion. She shared a special bond with her cats Pywacket, Sage and Paige and is now reunited with them at Rainbow Bridge.
Survivors include her husband Johnnie Miller; her daughter Laurie Bond; her brother Paul Kimball Jr. and his wife Carol; her sister Deborah Daudier and her husband Joseph (Bob); her brother Kurt Kimball and his wife Marianne; her grandson Jacob Bond; and several nieces and nephews.
A private and simple service will be held at a later date.
Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to the Animal Welfare Society located in Kennebunk, Maine.
