YORK COUNTY — Snow removal will be on the minds of York County residents in the early morning on Wednesday, but as the day wears on, bundle up as the temperature will drop significantly.
According to the National Weather Service in Gray, a Winter Storm Warning will be in effect for much of York County throrgh 7 a.m. Wednesday, with very cold wind chill temperatures are expected today, tonight and Thursday.
Snow accumulations are expected to be in the range of 4 to 8 inches.
Plan on slippery road conditions. During a Winter Storm Warning for snow, severe winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous or treacherous. The weather service advises that if you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
Wednesday’s high will reach 32 degrees, but dip down to a low of 3 tonight.
