Topsham Fair Mall owners John and June Larson have announced that Kim’s Hallmark, currently located at Brunswick’s Cooks Corner shopping center, is relocating to Topsham Fair Mall.

The Larsons, who moved to Brunswick after purchasing the property in 2003, stated, “We are extremely pleased and proud to welcome Kim’s, a Hallmark ‘Gold Crown’ store, where it will join JoAnn’s Fabric & Crafts, Days Jewelers, Lamey Wellehan and Gamebox, which stores also made the decision to relocate to Topsham Fair Mall.”

John Larson noted that the conversation with Kim’s Hallmark began over a year ago when he initially reached out to the owner, Doug Williams, who also owns a second Kim’s Hallmark, located in the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers, Massachusetts.

“We knew that our own long-term tenant, Beverly’s Card & Gift, would be closing this spring due to the owner’s decision to retire,” John Larson said. “In attempting to come up with possible candidates for the space, I thought that perhaps the owner of Kim’s might be interested in taking over what had always been a very successful business very similar to his own.”

“We’ve had a highly successful store with very loyal customers for many years,” Williams said. “I am confident that our current customers will follow us to the new location and that they will be joined by customers who previously frequented Beverly’s for cards and gifts.”

Kim’s Hallmark will be located in Suite #7, the 4,000 square foot space between Days Jewelers and Cutting Crew. The store is expected to open in late April after a two-month ‘build-out’ period.

“I look forward to many, many more years serving Midcoast residents with the best Hallmark has to offer at our new location,” said Williams.
