Bowdoin, Shirley E. Chase 77, died Saturday December 29, 2018 in Brunswick. She was born October 14, 1941 in Bowdoin to Ellery and Vivian (Curtis) Wheeler. Shirley has been a lifelong resident of Bowdoin. She graduated from Lisbon High School with the Class of 1960.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles “Charlie” Chase of Bowdoin, her children, Corey Chase and his wife Denise of Lisbon Falls, Kevin Chase and his wife Michele of Topsham and Karla Chase of Bowdoin, three brothers, Kenneth Wheeler and his wife Jane, Wendall Wheeler and his wife Carol and Walter Wheeler and his wife Linda, three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4PM Saturday January 5, 2019 at Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St. in Brunswick, a graveside service will be held later in the spring at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Bowdoin.
