South Portland will celebrate the holiday season with the city’s annual Holiday Fest and tree lighting in Mill Creek Park on Friday, Dec. 7. The event will begin at 4:30 p.m. with visits from Santa at City Hall, horse-drawn carriage rides, carolling and festive refreshments, and conclude at 6 p.m. with the lighting of the South Portland Christmas tree. Holiday Fest, which is free and open to the public, is hosted by the South Portland-Cape Elizabeth Community Chamber and the South Portland Parks and Recreation department.
