Brunswick—Theodore I. Peacock, Jr, age 74, died at Maine Veterans Home, Augusta November 13, 2018.
He was born January 3, 1944 in Gardiner, ME a son of Theodore and Sigrid Rundstrom Peacock Sr. He was a US Air Force Vietnam Veteran. He married Doreen Mank June 24, 1978 in Brunswick.
He worked as a shipping supervisor for BIW for 20 years. He also built draggers with Washburn & Doughty, Woolwich. While living in Florida, he worked for Plant City Steel and enjoyed managing a local golf course.
He was a member of the American Legion, Post 21. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, duck and deer hunting, and motorcycle treks. He regularly camped on Moody’s Island and looked forward to playing the slots while vacationing in Aruba and Las Vegas
He was predeceased by his brother, William Peacock.
He is survived by his wife, Doreen Peacock of Brunswick; a daughter Katia Smith; three sisters, Patricia Ouellette, Donna Peacock, and Betty Johanson; brother and sister-in-laws, David and Denise Cromwell; mother-in-laws, Kathleen Torrey and Delores Mank; several nieces and nephews who loved him.
A funeral service will be held 3pm Sunday November 18, 2018 at the Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal Street, Brunswick. Mr. Peacock will be interned with military honors in Maine Veterans Cemetery, Augusta. Memories and condolences can be expressed at www.brackettfuneralhome.com.
