KENNEBUNK — For the second straight week, the No. 1 Kennebunk High School football team will have to give up its homefield advantage thanks to “impending rain on Friday and field conditions.”
That was the word from Kennebunk Athletic Director Joe Schwartzman on Wednesday afternoon. Just like last week’s regional semifinal, the Class B South championship game will now be played at Waterhouse Field in Biddeford. The game has also been moved from Friday night to a 12:30 p.m. start on Saturday.
Kennebunk (10-0) will play No. 2 Marshwood (9-1) in a rematch of a thrilling regular season game, which the Rams won on a last-second field goal.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for students and senior citizens.
