PORTLAND — Democratic Rep. Benjamin Collings was re-elected to a second term in House District 42 on Tuesday.
Collings defeated Republican challenger Susan Abercrombie 3,269 to 943.
House District 42 extends from Back Cove through East Deering to the city boundary with Falmouth, and north and west along Washington Avenue to Allen Avenue.
